Most things start small, somewhere, somehow, they must come from something, a seed - so to speak. And though they may grow unattended as the wild blueberry bushes we in-turn clean out of the rivers, they grow from a seed planted or dropped in the spot they have come to be.
(this common logic, forgotten solves riddles of misfortune and cotastrophy and may lead one to reconsider the placement or haphazard scatter of his seeds.)
